Abstract

Muita da investigação sobre o desenvolvimento da literacia tem-se ocupado do estudo da aprendizagem da leitura, mas a aprendizagem da escrita é também muito importante e esse reconhecimento tem vindo a traduzir-se na realização de um número cada vez maior de trabalhos científicos dedicados a esse tópico.

Author Biography

Ana Paula Simões Vale, UTAD - Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro

Ana Paula Vale is a Professor of Language and Cognition at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Portugal. Her research interests are in the development of reading and spelling as well as in dyslexia. She was awarded the prize Seeds of Science 2011 Portugal for her research in dyslexia and won the 9th CEGOC-Portugal Prize 2014 for co-authored BAL – a Reading Assessment Battery.
