Abstract

A Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa (ESELx), instituição que se dedica à formação de profissionais de educação, afirma a sua identidade em torno dos princípios da inclusão. Como se pode ler no seu Projecto Formativo (2011):

“A ESELx prepara profissionais de educação (professores e outros agentes educativos) orientando a sua acção ao serviço da criança e do jovem, do adulto, do idoso, nomeadamente aqueles com maiores necessidades sócio-educativas.”

Surge neste contexto de forma natural este número especial da sua revista “Da Investigação às Práticas” dedicada à temática da inclusão, em grande medida pensado para profissionais de educação em formação inicial ou contínua. Responderam ao nosso desafio um conjunto de investigadores cujos trabalhos se agrupam à volta de três grandes temáticas: i) Caminhos para a inclusão, ii) Investigação sobre práticas educativas inclusivas, e iii) Informando as práticas – apoio às práticas dos professores.
