This study analyzed the articulation between neurodiversity and learning in Brazilian formal education, based on critical frameworks and a qualitative, bibliographic, and documentary approach. The investigation understood neurodiversity as a legitimate expression of the human condition, in opposition to normative-deficit biomedical perspectives. Based on Bakhtinian dialogic analysis, it examined how legal and pedagogical discourses, in some contexts, welcomed, and in others, stigmatized neurocognitive singularities. The analysis of public policies and school practices revealed tensions between legal frameworks and their implementation in everyday educational settings, highlighting the urgency of flexible curricula, critical teacher education, and school cultures that listen to and legitimize diversity. The study concluded that inclusive pedagogy requires not only access but also belonging and the valuing of multiple ways of being, learning, and teaching.
