Acceptance of preprints

The journal accepts the submission of manuscripts that have previously been made available on preprint servers. The existence of a prior version on a preprint server does not constitute grounds for exclusion, nor does it affect the editorial or scientific evaluation of the article.

At the time of submission, authors must indicate the electronic address (URL) or the persistent identifier (DOI) of the corresponding preprint, ensuring that the submitted version reflects any revisions or updates resulting from feedback received.

If the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record with the bibliographic reference and DOI of the version published in the journal, in order to ensure traceability and transparency between versions.

The journal encourages the responsible use of preprints as an open science practice, in accordance with the guidelines of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
