Peer-Review Process

The scientific integrity of From Research to Practice is grounded in a rigorous double-blind peer-review system:

  • Review workflow: Following an initial compliance screening, each manuscript is sent to two external reviewers.
  • Review criteria: Reviewers assess originality, methodological clarity, data relevance and quality of writing.
  • Resolution of disagreements: In the event of conflicting reviews, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer.

Open Access and Reuse Policy

This journal provides free and immediate access to all of its content, based on the principle that scientific knowledge should be a public good.

  • Open access: Any user may read, download, copy, distribute, print or create links to the full texts without prior permission, provided that authorship is properly attributed and the journal is acknowledged as the original place of publication.
  • No article processing charges (APCs): No fees are charged at any stage of the editorial process.

Ethics, Integrity and Plagiarism Prevention

The journal subscribes to the standards of conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Plagiarism detection: All submissions are subject to originality checks. Manuscripts showing evidence of plagiarism or unauthorised redundancy (self-plagiarism) will be immediately rejected.
  • Institutional endogeneity: In order to ensure diversity and editorial independence, the proportion of articles authored by members of the publishing institution or the editorial team is strictly limited to 25% per issue.

Archiving and Digital Preservation

The journal ensures the long-term preservation of its digital archives through integration with the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and RCAAP, guaranteeing continued access to articles even in the event of discontinuation of journal activities.
